Nicholas is the youngest of three children. In 2021, his mother abandoned the family, leaving Nicholas and his siblings in the care of their father, a casual laborer who often struggled to provide food and supervision. The children were frequently left alone, facing hunger, neglect, and a lack of emotional care.

In September 2025, Nicholas was admitted to Mukaa along with his brother and sister for safety, protection, and holistic care. Though only four years old and not yet in school, he is physically strong and full of potential.

Nicholas sometimes struggles emotionally and can be withdrawn or aggressive, but he is learning to trust and engage through loving care and counseling. He enjoys spending time with his older brother and is beginning to open up more to other children.

 

At Mukaa, he continues to grow in faith, finding stability, love, and a renewed sense of belonging. With consistent care, good nutrition, and emotional support, Nicholas is regaining confidence and joy in daily life.
