Benson

Benson is the youngest of four children. After his birth in 2019, his mother developed a recurring mental illness that made it impossible for her to breastfeed or care for him. His father, a casual laborer, struggled to provide for the family, and with no consistent caregiver available, Benson was placed under the care of Kitui Baby Home for safety and protection.

At age 6,  he came to Mukaa where he continues to receive education, love, and stability. Benson is in PP2 and will join Grade 1 next year. He is bright, confident, and a good student who enjoys learning new things.

​

Benson is known for his joyful and social nature. Though he occasionally gets into small fights with other children, he is quick to make friends and is loved by his peers. He enjoys leading songs and prayers during devotions and with ongoing guidance, consistent care, and emotional support, Benson is thriving. His musical gifts and leadership qualities are already evident, and he is growing stronger and more confident each day.
