Robert’s mother was raising 4 boys on her own when she died in 2009. The boys were left in the care of their elderly grandmother who earned some money as a farmworker but found it difficult to provide for their needs. This has become especially true as they grew older and needed funds for school fees. Amazingly, Robert and his brothers all scored well on the Kenyan national exams which allows them to attend high school. Robert is now in Form 2 (10th grade) and is in need of support.
