I am the second born of four children, although my exact date of birth is unknown. My mom ran away and left us with my dad. He is a very violent and cruel man. I was rescued from the hands of my father by the District Children’s Officer. My father was arrested and charged with cruelty and child neglect. My mom is alive and I have a step-mom too but neither of them are able to care for me as they are victims of my father as well. My grandmother is the only available relative but she is very sick. I am thankful to be at Mukaa with my siblings. I am in 2nd grade (Class 2).
