Lucky and his older sister have been living with their great-grandmother since he was born. Their mother has mental health issues and has abandoned her family. Neighbors had been trying to help provide food and clothing for the children, but provisions were extremely limited, and going to school was impossible. Lucky and his sister began living at Mukaa Children’s Home in July 2022. They can now begin a new life with the loving care of this home and with opportunities for school and support for their physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
