Lucky and his younger sister lost their parents to domestic violence and suicide in 2017. Since that time they lived with an alcoholic grandfather and only survived through the generosity of a kindly neighbor. As of July 2022, Lucky and his sister can now call the loving staff and children of the Mukaa Children’s Home their new family and can experience a supportive environment for the first time. Lucky has some special disabilities that involve his right arm and leg and also his speech development.
