I came to live at the Mukaa Children’s Home in 2019 with younger sister and brother. After years of violence in our home, our parents abandoned us to live on our own. We tried to survive living outside and often with no food. We could not go to school and had no one to help us. We were rescued by the chief of our village, and he helped get a court to order that allowed us to live at the Mukaa Children’s Home. Now we have loving caregivers, protection, food, and education. I am currently in class 6 at the Mukaa Primary School.
My birthday is January 1, 2008.
