Elizabeth

Elizabeth is the second-born in a family of three. When her mother abandoned the children in 2021, Elizabeth was left in the care of her father, who struggled to meet their daily needs. During that difficult time, she suffered neglect and hunger, and was tragically exposed to abuse by a family member. She was later rescued and placed at Mukaa for care, protection, and healing.

Elizabeth is in Grade 2. She is an average performer who writes well and is learning to read. Though she is physically strong and full of energy, she continues to receive close support in learning daily care routines and building emotional stability. She sometimes struggles with fear, especially toward men, but through gentle counseling and loving caregivers, she is beginning to feel safe again.

Elizabeth enjoys attending church and Sunday school, where she is learning about God’s love and kindness. She is a bright, lively girl who loves to talk and is gradually rediscovering joy and confidence in her new environment. With continued support, counseling, and consistent care, she is on a steady path toward healing and hope.
